MONTREAL, QC. — The All Habs Network is happy to bring to you All Habs Fantasy Sports, a great way for you to add a little fun and excitement to your sports season, all while making new friends, connections and expanding your social community.

For years now, All Habs has been a leader in helping you do just that, build your social community (with obvious emphasis on the Montreal Canadiens) through various media such as:

Whether it be through news articles, play-by-play analysis, or simply common discussion, All Habs dominates the Montreal Canadiens social community on Twitter, coming in at 40,000+ strong.  In fact, there is no other hockey website focussing on a single-team who comes close.

In a recent article by the Edmonton Journal entitled “Who is the King of Hockey reporting on Twitter?” author David Staples lists those who report on hockey via Twitter, ordered by  followers. @All_Habs comes in at No. 11 on this list, and in very good company I might add. Here is a list of the top-15:

The Kings of Hockey reporting on Twitter:

  1. Bob McKenzie
  2. Darren Dreger
  3. Eklund
  4. James Duthie
  5. Pierre Lebrun

  11. All Habs
  12. Darren Pang
  13. Kevin Weekes
  14. Greg Wyshynski

See the original article for the full list including number of followers.

The All Habs mission continues to be to build a community of Canadiens fans who are informed, engaged and connected, and Rick Stephens, Editor-in-Chief is pleased that people use All Habs as a conduit to find and connect with other Habs fans worldwide. He is also proud that Habs Tweetups have allowed fans to meet in person and develop long lasting friendships.  Be sure to follow @All_Habs on Twitter, and also visit other All Habs social community media for a complete engaged fan experience.

  1. We will definitely be doing Fantasy Hockey with specifics coming out within the next 2 weeks. We’ll make an announcement in The Forum. If you wish to receive an invite prior feel free to send me an email at [email protected].

The format will be head to head and based on specific category victories vs your head to head opponent. Goals, assists, shots on goal, game winning goal etc. Off the top of my head I think we went with 11 or 12 categories for skaters and specific categories for goaltenders.
