Habs News | Montreal Canadiens Sign Restricted Free Agent Forward Charles Hudon to One-year Contract

MONTREAL, QC. — On Friday, the Montreal Canadiens announced that restricted free agent forward Charles Hudon had been signed to a one-year, one-way contract with a value of $800,000. In doing so, Hudon avoided a salary arbitration hearing scheduled for August 2nd.

In 32 games played last season, Hudon recorded three goals and two assists for five points. So far the 25-year-old has played 110 NHL career games with 13 goals and and 39 points in four seasons with Montreal.

The Alma, Quebec native was drafted in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft (122nd overall.)
