GAME DAY PREVIEW | Montreal Canadiens vs Florida Panthers: Preview, TV, Start Time, Statistical Match-up, Projected Lines, Starting Goalies, Keys to Victory, Habs Tickets
Game Preview | |
A Look BackIt was a shocking game as the Habs took down one of the top teams in the league and it was by some of the least expecting players on the Habs. Evgenii Dadonov scored two goals while Mike Hoffman added one as well. Both players have been passengers on the Habs all season but showed they still have some elite scoring talent. Josh Anderson scored the final goal for the Habs while Sam Montembeault was strong in net only giving up one goal on 26 shots. Game Expectations |
The Habs have started to play some strong hockey of late beating teams as heavy underdogs. While it is currently hurting their draft position there is still a lot of hockey left. The Panthers are only a few points out of a wildcard position and should be doing everything they can to make the playoffs but haven’t been able to move up in the standings over the last two months. With only 36 games remaining for them on the schedule, losing against non-playoff teams can’t be an option if they want to make the playoffs.
Bottom LineThe Habs are bringing out their throwback jerseys once again that haven’t resulted in a win in back to back seasons, do they break the curse tonight?
