Pablo – Photographer AllHabs.net

  • Height: 1.73 m
  • Age: 30 years old
  • Writes: Right
  • Born: Caracas, Venezuela
  • Drafted: By All Habs, Autumn 2010
The Specs
  • Pablo grew up knowing nothing about hockey except from what he learned playing Blades of Steel on Nintendo. He moved to Montreal in 2004, aka the lockout, so he missed hockey for a little while. Since then he has fallen in love with the sport and especially the Habs, their history and what they mean to this great city.
  • Journalist in his mind and his heart, he grew up watching soccer and was lucky enough to work as a beat reporter before moving to Montreal for good. Here, teamed up with his beautiful wife, he founded a news site completely in Spanish called noticiasmontreal.com
  • Pablo met Rick on Twitter and Rick invited him to join All Habs as a photographer. It’s been amazing since then, getting to know such great people, he says.
The Essentials
  • He is the definition of the regular guy. It’s really difficult to get Pablo mad but he can get totally Bruce Banner-Hulky given the case. He dreams of traveling around the world with his wife. He wants to be a dad soon and would really love to succeed as a business owner.
What you must know
  • Pablo is Mr. Reruns. He can watch TV all day long: Family Guy, Friends or Seinfeld. Also sports, from foosball to Australian Rules Football and everything in between.
  • Burgers can easily be his favorite food alongside poutine (he can’t believe a huge part of the planet doesn’t even know about its existence!)
What you probably didn’t know
  • He’s a musician and studied piano for six years at a Conservatory. He also had a band back in Venezuela in which he played guitar. They played reggae/ska, and got their run at the local scene and on the radio. The highlight: playing in front of about 8.000 people.
