Clearly, Habs fans are passionate about their club. It doesn’t matter whether or not the Canadiens are taking part in a practice, making a transaction or playing a game, you are bound to have a great conversation with many people sharing the same interests. Overall, the game was a very mild afair against Calgary, which should have been, in theory, an easy win based off of both teams’ performances from the previous year. However, it was clear that was not the case, with Flames goaltender Jamie MacDonald just stealing the show in the home crease. Montreal didn’t manage to tie the game up despite a late comeback, resulting in a 3-2 Calgary win. Montreal fans are getting use to hearing that, sadly, as the Canadiens have still yet to grab a win in the Saddledome since 2002, back when Saku Koivu, Oleg Petrov and Jose Theodore were the heart and soul of the team.
