	Game Recap: The Canadiens dominated the first two periods outshooting Florida 25-11. The Habs had two disallowed goals in the game. Coach Michel Therrien:

• “[Carey Price] played really well. Both goalies played well tonight. I really liked the way we played the first and second period. We got tons of chances.”
• “Tim Thomas gave a chance to his team to stay involved in the game and you have to give a lot of credit to him. Two goals (by the Canadiens) were disallowed so there’s nothing we can do about it.”
• “[Florida Panthers] gave a good push in the third (period) but Carey Price, just like in baseball, was the closer. There was no way in his mind that the Panthers would score the second goal.”
• “[Defensive hockey] is just something we approached with the team. We have to get back to playing well defensively.  One thing, we followed the (game) plan really well. There were a few breakdowns that we will be able to work with for the next game.”
• “Especially lately, we were giving up too many goals, I believe, even if we were capable to get some points. But we have to make sure we play solid defensively.”
• “[Tomas Plekanec being selected as the captain of the Czech Republic team] is a great honour. I’m really proud for him. (It’s) well-deserved. When you’re talking about being a pro, Tomas, this is exactly where he fits in. We honour that Tomas is the captain of his own country.”
