Here’s an excerpt from the Canadiens.com article by Alexandre Harvey (translated by Shauna Denis) who interviewed Francis Bouillon and Steve Begin about their playing status:
“I feel good,” said Bouiilon, despite being out of the lineup since the start of the regular season with a knee injury. “I felt really comfortable in the one-on-ones and two-on-twos. Now I’ve got to talk with the doctors and the coaching staff to figure out when I can get back into a game.”
Obviously, when Bouillon does finally get cleared to play, one of his fellow blue-liners will have to drop out of the lineup to make room.
“It’s one of the bad things about having a team as deep as ours,” Bouillon explained. “One guy’s good fortune sometimes means that someone else is losing out, but that’s something that’s out of my control. I’m here to play hockey and the only thing I can control is whether I’m healthy and ready to play when they give me the go-ahead.”
