Montreal Canadiens PRESS RELEASE

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens issued Monday a medical update on defenseman Josh Gorges.

Gorges underwent surgery this morning to repair a fracture in his left hand.

His recovery is estimated to be four weeks.

The surgery was performed in Montreal by Dr. Paul Martineau.
