MONTREAL, QC. — In exactly three months time, the Montreal Canadiens will be back on the Bell Centre ice starting with a Red – White intersquad game that will open their preseason schedule. One day later the Bruins will be in Montreal possibly still stinging from being ousted in the second round of the playoffs by the Habs. Of the eight games on the schedule just three will take place away from home at the United Center in Chicago, Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa and at the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City.

Following their final preseason game against the Senators on October 4, the Canadiens will head to Toronto for the first of three road games on Wednesday October 8th to begin the regular season schedule against the Leafs, Capitals and Flyers. The Habs home opener will take place on Thursday October 16 as the Boston Bruins visit the Bell Centre.
The Canadiens will play seven of eight games on the road during the last week of November and first week of December. Their Western road trip to play the Sharks, Ducks, Kings and Coyotes is scheduled for the first week of March. The Habs will close the regular season on Saturday April 11 in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre.
