LAKE PLACID, NY. — The All Habs team is in Lake Placid, New York this week for the 2014 National Junior Evaluation Camp hosted by USA Hockey. Some of the best junior-aged players in the world are gathered here representing the United States, Finland, Sweden and the Czech Republic. Teams are using the experience to evaluate talent and prepare for the 2015 World Junior Championship to be held in Toronto and Montreal beginning on Boxing Day.
Jacob de la Rose, captain of Team Sweden has played a strong, physical brand of hockey in demanding games against the United States and Finland this week. The Habs prospect will be playing this fall in North America either with the Canadiens or the Hamilton Bulldogs. De la Rose took time both before Friday’s game and after to speak exclusively to All Habs Hockey Magazine.
