MONTREAL, QUE. – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have assigned forward Drayson Bowman to the Bulldogs.

Bowman has split this season between the Canadiens and Bulldogs. In three games with Montreal, the 25-year-old has recorded no points or penalty minutes. In 14 games with Hamilton, the 6-0, 195-pound forward has recorded seven points (three goals, four assists) and seven penalty minutes.

In 179 career NHL regular season games with the Canadiens and Carolina Hurricanes, the Grand Rapids, Mich. native has recorded 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) and 53 penalty minutes. In 200 career AHL regular season games with the Bulldogs, Charlotte Checkers and Albany River Rats, he has recorded 117 points (59 goals, 58 assists) and 155 penalty minutes.

Bowman was originally selected by the Hurricanes in the third round (72nd overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. The Canadiens signed him to a one-year contract on Oct. 2, 2014.
