Canadiens assign Ryan White to the Hamilton Bulldogs

MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced Saturday that forward Ryan White has been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs. White will join the Bulldogs today in Toronto for tonight’s game against the Toronto Marlies, the second of a back to back series between the two teams.

White, 21, had been recalled on from Hamilton on November 4. The 6’00’’, 193 lbs forward played in 13 Canadiens games since being called up, including his first NHL game on November 5 against the Bruins in Boston. He recorded two points (0-2-2), recorded 40 hits and blocked 12 shots, while playing an average of 11 minutes and 58 seconds.

White recorded seven points (3-4-7) in 11 games with the Bulldogs this season. He added 28 shots on goal and 22 penalty minutes, while maintaining an even plus/minus differential.
