Hamilton Bulldogs lose to Grand Rapids Griffins 5-3 in a lopsided game

Habster:

Not one of the Bulldogs better performances of the young season. Hamilton was badly outshot in the first two periods by a 32-14 margin (43-26 for the game) with the Griffins putting constant forechecking pressure in the Hamilton zone. Matt D’Agostini had a rough night with a -3 rating while defenseman Gerard Miller who was replacing Pavel Valentenko had a -2 rating with his defense partner Andrew Archer.
The one bright spot was the solid play of Jean-Philippe Cote who played a strong two way game and was the only plus player on the night (+1 and 1 assist). Yann Danis made some nice saves as well considering that he didn’t get much help from his teammates. Click on the above title to see the game statistics.
