Then All Habs Rewind is for you.

Every week watch the most unforgettable goals, saves, and hits by your Montreal Canadiens compiled by our video production team! Then tell us which one you liked most in the comments section below.

The Habs’ four-game week began in Detroit on Monday night, in a slow-moving game against the Red Wings.  The first two periods went by without any scoring from either team, but finally, in the third frame, Tomas Plekanec put the Canadiens on the board.  An empty-netter by Max Pacioretty sealed Carey Price’s fifth shutout of the season (his 30th overall).  Final score: Canadiens, 2-0. On Wednesday, the road trip took the Habs back to Canada for a tilt against the Ottawa Senators in the nation’s capital.  Dustin Tokarski was given the start on this night, facing Andrew Hammond in the opposite net who was playing his first NHL start in goal.  The Canadiens left their side of scoreboard blank yet again after the first twenty minutes, and although Pacioretty and Nathan Beaulieu both went on to score goals, the entire team seemed to play down to the Sens level.  Their lackluster effort led to a disappointing loss.  Final score: Senators, 4-2. The next night brought Price back to the crease as the Habs took home ice against the Florida Panthers.  Brendan Gallagher had something to celebrate after scoring a goal in the second period which earned him his 100th career point.  He scored again about eight minutes later, but the Panthers were keeping pace.  After a no-goal overtime Pacioretty was the only Montreal shooter to score in the shootout, which wasn’t enough to best the Florida team.  Final score: Panthers,  3-2 (SO). Finally, on Saturday, the Canadiens welcomed the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Bell Centre.  The first period looked like the Pacioretty program, scoring two goals, one of which was during the powerplay.    For the second consecutive game Jarred Tinordi dropped the gloves, as did Christian Thomas who left the ice with a distinctly bloodied face.  A shortie by Plekanec with less than a minute remaining in the third period clinched the win for the home team.  Final score: Canadiens, 3-1. The Canadiens hit the road for two of their three games this week.  They’ll kick things off in St. Louis on Tuesday night to take on the Blues.  Until then, we’ve got plenty of content to keep you busy reading about your favourite team!
