The Jets scored four goals on six shots in 3:52 of the first period on a shaky Sam Montembeault. The Canadiens scored four goals of their own in 9:13 powered by a Josh Anderson hat trick. And finally the Jets scored another four goals, each one coming on the power-play. It was a wildly entertaining game with lots of goal scoring, skilled special teams play, a penalty shot, multiple odd man rushes and a goal review. The Canadiens’ standouts were Anderson, Ryan Poehling and Artturi Lehkonen. Poehling made a nice pass for Anderson’s third goal and was buzzing around the net all game. Lehkonen’s ninth goal of the season ranks him second on the Habs in points. With all of the special teams’ play, Marty St. Louis admitted that “It was really hard tonight to manage the bench.” It was another learning experience for the Canadiens head coach who has just 10 games experience behind the bench. The best moment of the night came before puck drop when the Hoosli Ukrainian Male Chorus sang the Ukrainian and Canadian national anthems. It was powerful and touching. Up NextThe Canadiens continue their road trip by travelling to Calgary for a Thursday night contest against the Flames.Plus▲ Josh Anderson, Ryan Poehling, Artturi Lehkonen, Brett KulakMinus▼ Sam Montembeault, Brendan Gallagher, Mike Hoffman, Jake Evans, Rem Pitlick, Martin St. LouisGame PreviewCheck out the game preview here: In Search of 6 | PREVIEW: MTL @ WPG |

very glad to hear ryanCH25 had an excellent match.this kid is something speciale.we gotta manage him correctly.he’s got it all.skill.size.skating.vision.playmaking abilities.responsible in all 3 zones.tireless worker.true team-player.a centreman for the ages!!!jacques lemaire revisited.trevor timmins is a genius.he knew what he was doing in drafting ryan,(evans and cauldfield too).these kids can play.and i think all 3 are natural centres, non?.
de tout facon,we carry on with stop no.2 in death valley,ouest-
canadien, thursday nite.gonna be tough again.calgary are true contenders for the crown.could be their year?and when they see our new coach, their coach mr.sutter will remember well the stanley cup final back then with tampa!!!.somewhat controversial?very inconsistent refereeing?damaging to the flames more so than tampa were the indicateurs?
some final thoughts?
CH25 is a keeper.and so is CH62.they are a big part of our future.cannott send them away.need to give them the benefit of our scouts!!!keep them and grow the team with them.
