  • Here were the forward lines and defence pairings at practise this morning in Brossard.

► Light schedule

  • The Canadiens have just two games on the schedule this week: Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday night and the New York Rangers on Saturday.
  • With the Canadiens having the day off on Sunday, Brandon Prust was using the time to relax and watch some football.

► Dogs’ Hallowe’en

  • Canadiens’ prospect, Christian Thomas, switched sports, well at least for the night. He posted a photo dressed as football personality, Johnny Manziel.
  • Bulldogs players Thomas, Connor Crisp and Jacob De La Rose were attending an early Hallowe’en party.

Hockey with Lernout 

  • Canadiens prospect Brett Lernout and his Swift Current Bronco teammates attended an event that included autographs, BBQ and road hockey on Sunday afternoon.
  • Lernout was selected in the third round, No. 73 overall at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
