Adrian Dater writing at Versus.com takes a look at the Best Fans in the NHL detailing his top five. According to Dater, Habs fans are number two in hockey. He reasons that Toronto Maple Leafs supporters, due to their ability to support the team during an extended period of misery, deserve the top spot.  What’s your opinion?

2. Montreal Canadiens – Every single night, 21,000-plus fill the Bell Centre. Appetite for all things Habs knows no bounds.
They used to have a well-deserved rap for snobbery, who didn’t fully appreciate the many great teams in front of them…”

  1. What a tragic story of that young football player. I can’t help but think about Sidney Crosby. Quite sure he suffered 2 concussions days apart. He’s just outside that age window refered to in this piece where there can be an elevated risk of something catastrophic occurring. Those were a couple of good whacks he took from Steckel and Hedman.

Won’t waste much time or thought on Gillies. Shouldn’t be in the league, period. His stats over the years are laughable.
