WINNIPEG, MB — There were many nervous faces before puck drop on Saturday night as the Montreal Canadiens headed into a must-win Game 5, looking to ward off elimination during the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. It was a closely played game with many tense moments for fans, but in the end there was plenty to cheer about as the Habs came out victorious, forcing Game 6. You can catch our entire game recap here.
Jekyll & Hydes is a locally owned establishment in the heart of Osborne Village and features 29 beers on tap. Though it was a bit chilly on Saturday night to enjoy it, the freehouse also features a large outdoor patio which is perfect for those hazy, summer afternoons. Our guests indulged in some tasty food, including a burger and beer special, and shared plenty of laughs over some of the restaurant’s extensive beverage selection.
In addition to these great prizes, All Habs Hockey Magazine, through a partnership with the NHL, donated two tickets to the 2015 NHL Draft held in Sunrise, Florida. Our guests were certainly pumped up about this unique opportunity and fantastic prize! If YOU would like to have a chance to win a ticket to this year’s NHL Draft, make sure to enter our contest, which runs until June 6th.
This event marked our third All Habs Hockey Party in the city of Winnipeg, and our record for Habs wins at each party is currently 3-0. Many guests joked that we ought to have All Habs events for the remainder of the playoffs to keep our good luck alive…we might be onto something! Here’s to hoping that the Montreal Canadiens continue their drive for 25 – we’ll surely be back with another Hockey Party soon!
