Who is the Canadiens’ MVP for the first quarter of the season?

A clear decision in this past week’s All Habs poll. More than half of our readers believe that Carey Price is the Canadiens MVP for the first quarter of the season. Price has been solid and many times spectacular carrying the Canadiens as they have been outshot the majority of the contests.

Saku Koivu has been the most consistent forward all year and the selection of a quarter of our readers. He has been the hardest working Hab every game. He has also shown leadership. The Canadiens lines have been juggled all season but it is clear that Koivu’s line is #1 regardless of his linemates.

Alex Tanguay and Andrei Markov are favorites of the remaining 20% of All Habs readers. Both have been excellent point producers although have done so with some inconsistency.
