Then All Habs Rewind is for you.

Every Sunday watch the most unforgettable goals, saves, hits by your Montreal Canadiens compiled by our video production team! Then tell us which one you liked most in the comments section below.

The week began with a home game on Monday night against the Florida Panthers, who have been a difficult opponent for the Canadiens this season…until now.  Tim Thomas was in net for the Panthers on this evening and proved to be in terrible form.  David Desharnais put a puck past Thomas in the first period, followed by Brian Gionta in the second.  At the other end of the ice, Carey Price made 26 saves and helped the Habs defeat the Panthers for the first time this season.  Final score: Canadiens, 2-1. The Canadiens took to the road after that, making a stop in Philadelphia on Wednesday night to take on the Flyers.  Peter Budaj took over goaltending duties on this night, but looked shaky in net and Alex Galchenyuk was out of the lineup nursing a broken hand.  Defensive lines looked sloppy, and the Habs’ power play couldn’t produce any goals much less keep the puck in the offensive zone.  Tomas Plekanec took advantage of the Flyers’ tendency to allow short-handed goals to pot one while on the penalty kill in the second period.  Michel Therrien took his frustrations out on the team in a controversially public manner, benching P.K. Subban in the third period for taking a bad penalty and not pulling the goaltender in the final minutes of the game to attempt a man-advantage comeback.  Final score: Flyers, 3-1. (Read our full recap here: Therrien Takes the Spotlight as Flyers Dump Habs)

Heading back to home ice again, the Canadiens looked to face the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night in an original six matchup.  Facing a very strong team, the Habs rose to the occasion in one of the most exciting games they’ve played this season.  Price had an exceptional game, holding Chicago to just one goal.  Andrei Markov had a fantastic game, scoring a goal in the second period and another in overtime for the game winner.  Emotions were running high on the team and it showed – even Brendan Gallagher found himself in a rarely seen scrap.  Final score: Canadiens, 2-1 (OT). The Canadiens play another home game on Tuesday night against the New Jersey Devils before taking off for a road trip which begins in Ottawa on Thursday.
