MONTREAL, QC – Need to get caught up on Habs highlights? Want to relive the memorable moments of the past week?

Then All Habs Rewind is for you.

Every Sunday watch the most unforgettable goals, saves, hits by your Montreal Canadiens compiled by our video production team! Then tell us which one you liked most in the comments section below.

The week kicked off on Wednesday night with a rivalry tilt against the Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre.  Carey Price was still out with an injury, so Peter Budaj once again took to the front of the net.  The Habs outshot the Bruins in the first period but in the second period Boston came back with a vengeance, scoring three goals.  The game was chippy and physical, and while David Desharnais was able to get the Canadiens on the board with a third period goal, it just wasn’t enough to mount a comeback.  Final score: Bruins, 4-1. Next up was another home game, this time with the Ottawa Senators making the short road trip to Montreal.  Price was finally back in net, and once again the Canadiens outshot their opponent in the opening period.  Danny Briere got things started early in the first with a goal, but then the Senators came alive in the second period and racked up a three-point lead.  It looked like the making of another disappointing outcome for the Habs until the last four minutes of regulation when Lars Eller, Brian Gionta, and Desharnais all scored in a matter of minutes.  The Desharnais goal hit the back of the net with just 0.3 seconds left in the game, forcing overtime.  The Habs used that momentum to their advantage and Francis Bouillon scored the game winner in the extra minutes.  Final score: Canadiens, 5-4 (OT). The Canadiens don’t have much time to rest, with a road game against the Sabres on Sunday to start a four-game week. Until then, we’ve got plenty of content to keep you busy reading about your favourite team! In case you missed them, here are a few fantastic articles published earlier this week:

All Habs Three Weekly Stars

1st Star: Brian Gionta

The role played by Brian Gionta (and Tomas Plekanec) is often undervalued by Habs fans. Gionta continues to perform at a high level defensively while making an offensive contribution.

2nd Star: Carey Price

Carey Price returned on Saturday night and his effect was immediate. He kept his team in the game turning away a number of breakaways as the Habs focus turned to offense.

3rd Star: P.K. Subban

P.K. Subban has played poorly since the Olympic break but showed against Ottawa and that is on track to turning his game around registering three assists.
