MONTREAL, QC – Need to get caught up on Habs highlights? Want to relive the memorable moments of the past week?

Then All Habs Rewind is for you.

Every Sunday watch the most unforgettable goals, saves, hits by your Montreal Canadiens compiled by our video production team! Then tell us which one you liked most in the comments section below.

The week kicked off with a Sunday night tilt against the Buffalo Sabres.  Dustin Tokarski got the nod to start in the Habs net.  Dale Weise and Brendan Gallagher each lit the lamp in the opening period, giving the Canadiens a two-goal lead that they would hold throughout the game.  It would be Tokarski’s first shutout in a Canadiens jersey.  Final score: Canadiens, 2-0. (Read our full recap here: Tokarski Solid to Earn First NHL Shutout)

Tuesday night brought a familiar face back to Montreal.  Patrick Roy and the Colorado Avalanche came into the Bell Centre looking for a win, but would leave empty-handed.  Carey Price was back in net this evening, and the offense was there to support him.  Thomas Vanek scored his first goal with the Habs in the second period, followed by Travis Moen.  Brandon Prust opened the scoring in the third period, and Weise wrapped up the game with an empty-netter.  But in between those two goals, Vanek scored two more of his own, earning his first hat trick with the Habs.  Final score: Canadiens, 6-3. (Read our full recap here: Vanek Emerges to Spoil Roy’s Party)

The Habs continued their home stand on Thursday evening when the Columbus Blue Jackets came to town.  Gallagher got the Canadiens on the board in the first period with a power play goal.  Vanek also scored in the third period.  Columbus pressed hard, and Max Pacioretty even succombed to a rare fight.  With mis-matched line cominations and veteran players making sloppy mistakes, the Canadiens couldn’t surmount a comeback.  Final score: Blue Jackets, 3-2. Finally, on Saturday night, the Canadiens took to the road for a matchup against their rivals the Toronto Maple Leafs.   Pacioretty, Rene Bourque, and Brian Gionta all scored in the first period, but the Leafs kept things interesting by returning a few goals of their own.  Thomas Plekanec sealed the deal for the Habs in the third period for the victory.  (Read our full recap here:  Goaltending Matters, Habs Best Leafs)
