Don’t be surprised if Bob Gainey calls-up defenseman Pavel Valentenko and center Kyle Chipchura for the remainder of the playoffs. They probably won’t see any playoff game action but the experience would be beneficial. It would also be a good insurance policy in case of injury if the Habs go far into the playoffs which is a definite possibility if they can get by the pesky Bruins.
