While beating the Bolts in the first round can’t be considered a huge upset, completing the sweep definitely turned heads. By ousting the Boston Bruins, winner’s of the President’s Trophy, and earning a berth into the Eastern Conference Final, the Canadiens earned the respect of fans and rivals alike.
