Canadiens Assign Five Players to the Hamilton Bulldogs

MONTRÉAL –The Montreal Canadiens announced Wednesday that goaltender Curtis Sanford, forwards Ben Maxwell and Ryan White, as well as defensemen Alex Henry and Yannick Weber have been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

Sanford, 31, appeared in one preseason game, stopping all six shots he faced in 29 minutes of play. White, 22, took part in five pre-season contests, totalling three points (2-1-3), with a +4 plus/minus differential and 11 shots on goal. Maxwell, 22, amassed two points (1-1-2) and nine shots on goal in four pre-season games. Henry, 31, earned an assist and had three shots on goal in four pre-season contests, with a +4 plus/minus differential. Weber, 22, played four pre-season match-ups, registering two assists and eight shots on goal, with a +1 plus/minus differential.

The Canadiens will open their regular-season schedule when they visit the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre, on Thursday, October 7.
