CANADIENS ASSIGN SVEN ANDRIGHETTO TO BULLDOGS

MONTREAL, QUE. – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have assigned forward Sven Andrighetto to the Bulldogs.
Andrighetto has split this season between the Canadiens and Bulldogs. In 12 games with Montreal, he has recorded three points (two goals, one assist). In 21 games with Hamilton, the 21-year-old has recorded 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) and 16 penalty minutes. In 85 career American Hockey League regular season games with the Bulldogs, the Zurich, Switzerland native has recorded 62 points (26 goals, 36 assists) and 56 penalty minutes.
The 5-9, 186-pound forward was selected by the Canadiens in the third round (86th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Sunday, Jan. 11 when they’ll host the Oklahoma City Barons at FirstOntario Centre at 3 p.m.
