PRESS RELEASE

MONTREAL  –  Montreal Canadiens general manager Pierre Gauthier announced Monday the signing of defenseman Chris Campoli to a one-year contract for the 2011-12 season. As per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Although the Montreal Canadiens, in their traditional methods did not disclose the terms of the agreement, as per TSN’s Bob McKenzie:

Campoli received $1.4 million last season as he split time between the Ottawa Senators and Chicago Blackhawks.
