Canadiens Visit Sainte-Justine, Montreal Children’s Hospitals

Written by Kristina, AllHabs.net

MONTREAL, QC. — The Montreal Canadiens have always been good at putting a smile on a child’s face. But over the Holiday Season, the ability for the players to put a smile on someone’s face is even more special. For the 47th consecutive year, the Montreal Canadiens organization has been instrumental in adding some holiday cheer and laugher to the  patients of the Sainte-Justine and Montreal Children’s Hospitals. On December 7th, 2011, the Canadiens players visited young patients of these hospitals and provided them with a gift and a memory they will certainly never forget.

The Montreal Canadiens holiday initiatives continue on Thursday, December 8, 2011 with their annual food drive held at Bell Centre in support of the Grande Guignolée des médias. If you are heading out to the Bell Centre to catch the Canadiens taking on the Vancouver Canucks, do not forget to do your part and bring some non-perishable food items. The players’ spouses along with volunteers from Harvest Montreal, Sun Youth and La Société Saint-Vincent-de-Paul will collect all fan donations at the Bell Centre entrances.
