From Canadiens.com:
The Canadiens’ latest acquisition is poised to make its Bell Centre debut tonight in front of its new fans.
The Habs’ new central scoreboard, the third model since the venue opened its doors in March 1996, is the largest of its kind in the NHL. Weighing in at over 50,000 pounds and standing 25 feet high and 40 feet wide, it won’t go unnoticed on Friday night when the Habs take on the Senators. The scoreboard is also two and a half times the size of the scoreboard recently purchased by the Maple Leafs for the Air Canada Centre.
With its four 510 square foot video panels being five times the size of the Canadiens’ former model, capacity crowds can expect the ultimate fan experience each time they come to the Bell Centre.
It also boasts the ability to receive a high definition feed, ensuring a sharper image quality.
