Canadiens: Yannick Weber assigned to Hamilton

MONTREAL –The Montreal Canadiens announced Friday that defenseman Yannick Weber has been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs. Weber will report the Bulldogs today in Hamilton. The Bulldogs will play their next game against the Abbotsford Heat on Sunday, December 13.
Weber, 21, had been recalled from Hamilton on December 9. Recalled for the first time this season on October 4, the 5’11’’, 193 lbs defenseman played three games with the Canadiens earlier this season before being assigned to Hamilton on October 12. He was held pointless with one shot on goal, while averaging 14:50 minutes of ice time per game.
Weber recorded six points (1-5-6) in 22 games with the Bulldogs this season. He added 59 shots on goal and 22 penalty minutes, with a +5 plus/minus differential.
