Five Hole For Food – Montreal.

MONTREAL, QC. — Five Hole For Food (FHFF) is traveling across Canada for the third consecutive summer, bringing people together so they can play hockey and donate food to the country’s hungry.

The ball will drop in Montreal on Monday, July 9th at the Bell Centre from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in hopes of collecting tons of food for Moisson Montreal. Guests will get the opportunity to play with Habs alumni Sergio Momesso and Gilbert Delorme.

The concept of the event is very simple: participants must bring non-perishable food items and a hockey stick. All ages are welcome to the event, and it is not obligatory for participants to be superstar hockey players. The event is aimed at raising awareness and making a difference.

Afterwards, the FHFF team invites everyone to an after-party that will take place at le Cage aux Sports to enjoy some food and drinks. The Bell Centre will also be offering refreshments during the event.

The event is not only meant to encourage a good ol’ ball hockey game but is open to anyone who wishes to donate and be a part of the festivities. As a city that lives for hockey, we hope that you will all come support the fantastic FHFF team and help beat last year’s record!

I will be live Tweeting the event using the hashtags #FHFF and #allhabs via @AlyDeR.
