Basically, what Gainey is saying is that Pacioretty, Chipchura and Weber will be heading to Hamilton.

If Francis Bouillon injured foot doesn’t recover quick enough before the season starts, then Gainey/Carbo may want to keep Yannick Weber around for a few games as an insurance policy. It would have to be for a duration of 9 games or less otherwise I believe the Habs would have to keep him on the NHL roster for the entire season……..correct me if I’m mistaken, follow Canadiens fans!!!

From everything I’ve read recently, Bouillon’s injury isn’t considered serious and should be well enough by next Friday when the Habs regular season starts in Buffalo.
