This organization supports children with speech impediments. Stuttering is something the affects 70 million people across the globe including five per cent of all children.

The pair will be at an event at Carrefour Multisports de Laval on September 6th at 1:00 pm. to support this charity. There will be a chance for all who attend to meet Alex Galchenyuk and the chance to win an autographed jersey. A silent auction to raise money for the cause will also be taking place.

According to a report in the Journal de Montreal, Alex will spend about two hours with youngsters with speech impediments. Alex will spend the first hour playing ball hockey with members of the Association and having a dinner with two young stutterers who won a contest. Galchenyuk will meet all of the guests in the second hour to sign autographs.
