Game Preview by Sam Gerber
Last game: MTL 3 WSH 2
The Habs played with effort and got the bounce they needed to take of the Capitals. Max Pacioretty proved why he is the captain of this team and Antti Niemi picked up his first win of the season.
Max Pacioretty
Pacioretty is out of his slump and played one of his best games all season against the Capitals. Look for a repeat performance tonight versus the Bruins.
Patrice Bergeron
Bergeron has been on quite the tear and the Habs have no answer for him in the faceoff dot. Montreal players will need to get in his face and take him off his game.
Jakub Jerabek
Jerabek is showing that he is getting comfortable with the NHL game and is playing with confidence. Jerabek has four points in his last three games.
Keys to Victory
Look for payback
The Habs poor effort against the Bruins the other night left a sour taste in their mouth and they will be looking to get some revenge.
Be disciplined
Montreal players continue to take too many penalties which is risky against a dangerous Boston power-play.
Move your feet
When the Habs are skating, they get rewarded.

What to Expect
Prediction: Canadiens 3 Bruins 1
After playing twice already in the last week, the Habs and Bruins rivalry should be present tonight. The Canadiens had no one to blame but themselves in Wednesday’s game in Boston. The Habs must stay disciplined or it could cost them.
