Game Preview by Sam Gerber | |
Last game : MTL 3 BUF 4
Max Domi led the way for the Habs, scoring twice. Besides Domi and Artturi Lehkonen, too few other players were engaged for this game. Habs let Buffalo dictate the pace. With the score tied at three with less than two minutes to go, a weak penalty was called. The Canadiens failed to win the face-off once again, the Sabres scored on the power-play and Buffalo had the win. The Habs were clearly out-played and didn’t deserve to win this one. Keys to Victory

What to Expect by Sam Gerber |
The Habs should come out with energy. After being out played in every respect by Buffalo, Montreal needs to answer back and prove that the start of the season wasn’t just a fluke. The Bruins rely heavily on their first line, which is arguably the best-line in hockey. If Montreal can bottle up the Bruins first line in their own end and minimize their chances, it should be considered a win. Price will get the start and could move into sole possession of second on the all-time win list. |
