On this day in hockey history… | 1970 – “O Canada” was sung for the first time at the Montreal Forum, by Roger Doucet. The Habs went on to win 4-3 over the Red Wings that night and Mr. Doucet remained the Forum’s national anthem singer for the next 10 years. |
