Pre-game Notes and Quotes
P.A. Parenteau will play at right-wing tonight but Michel Therrien would not reveal who would be sitting out. Therrien said that Parenteau “can help on the power-play.”
Since December 1, P.A. Parenteau has scored two goals and none on the power-play.
Therrien said that Dale Weise should be available tonight although he did not practice this morning. Word is that Weise is sick.
Jacob De la Rose and Devante Smith-Pelly stayed on the ice for extra work after practice often an indicator of a player who will be in teh press box.
Ottawa coach Dave Cameron, “This team believes in itself. It’s been on the run here for two months and it believes in itself and it plays that way.”
