  • Matt Carle: “I think we can really take a stranglehold on this series. We have a really good opportunity to go up 2-0 and grab two wins out of their building.”
  • Michel Therrien: “We know what we’re facing. Our focus is only on one game. And I think from the team’s standpoint, we did a lot of good things to be really upbeat and confident for [Sunday] night’s game.”
  • Alex Galchenyuk: “When you don’t get the bounces for a couple of games, you know they’ll eventually come when you keep working. That’s where my head is right now.”
  • Alex Galchenyuk has only scored two goals in his last 25 games.
  • Michel Therrien: “Game 1 was a tough game for [Alex Galchenyuk], whether it was in terms of possessing the puck or his penalties, but we want him to continue developing. We’re different people, though. I was hard on myself. He’s hard on himself too, but he doesn’t show it as much. It will click with Alex. He’ll be back on his game soon and he’ll help us win.”
