  • Max Pacioretty – “This group won three out of four elimination games in the playoffs last year, so we knew what to expect and we played with that desperation we needed to have,”
  • Jeff Petry – “The focus is one more game here and just take it one game at a time. We’ve just got to win one game and that was our focus [Thursday], and that’s got to be our focus moving forward.”
  • Thursday was the first time in 16 games that Ben Bishop was pulled.  Steven Stamkos has not had a shot on goal in the last two games.
  • Anton Stralman – “We got the beating we deserved [Thursday], you want to do things right and we haven’t been doing that over the last couple of games.”
