MONTREAL, QC. — Here are the game day notes from the morning skate and coach’s pressers ahead of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final.

Alexei Emelin is a game-time decision for Canadiens. He rode a stationary bike but didn’t take the skate.

Dale Weise did not skate and is out for Habs tonight. Coach Therrien would not use the word concussion instead choosing to describe the reason as a “body injury.”

Michel Therrien: “You’re presuming it’s a head injury.” Reporter: “Am I not correct?” Therrien: “You’re not correct.”

Brandon Prust will take Weise’s spot with a line with Lars Eller and Rene Bourque.

Therrien: “He’s going to be hungry to play. He’s going to go hard. He’s excited about playing tonight. We’re glad he’s back in our lineup.”

Canadiens players were told not to talk about John Moore‘s hit on Dale Weise with reporters.

On the Rangers side, defenseman Raphael Diaz will replace John Moore, who will serve the first of his two game suspension.

Alain Vigneault: “[Raphael Diaz] is a good defenseman in the sense that he’s not overly physical, but he’s got good instincts, he moves the puck well, he can help us on the power play. He’s going to be all right. I mean, every time we’ve used him this year, he’s been good for us.”

Carey Price took to the ice at the end of the Habs morning skate. Price took a few shots from his teammates before they left the ice. Price won’t play tonight.

This is the fourth straight day Price has been on the ice, the last three doing drills in full equipment.
