On this day in hockey history 1984 – Fan favorite and Hall of Famer, Guy Lafleur, scored his 518th career goal. This goal helped the Canadiens to a 3-2 victory over Buffalo and would also prove to be his final goal as a member of the Montreal Canadiens.
