The Habs came back after being down 2-0 and won the game a shootout. Tomas Tatar had a big game for the Habs, and Antti Niemi was solid in the shootout after having a shaky start to his first game. Carey Price was out due to the flu. The flu is making the rounds of the team which will affect the lineup against the Red Wings. The comeback was something Habs fans failed to see much of last year. Max Domi rang one off the post in overtime, something he’ll be seeing in his sleep. Paul Byron scored the game-deciding goal to deliver the win. Montreal has beated the Penguins twice this season. Expect a fast, back and forth game. The Wings are still looking for their first win of the season and should come out flying. The Habs will need match the Wings energy right from the get go. A quick start for the Habs will get the Wings on edge and could create a chippy game. |
