Game Preview by Sam Gerber | |
Last game : MTL 3 CBJ 2 The game wasn’t pretty but the Canadiens got a victory. Max Domi didn’t have a good game but potted his 20th goal of the year. Paul Byron scored in his return from injury. The Habs weren’t ready to start the second period and the Blue Jackets took advantage. With a one goal lead with less than ten minutes to play in the game, Brett Kulak was caught deep and Domi was flatfooted. The Blue Jackets tied it up. Shortly after, Tomas Tatar scored the game winner after a great pass from Jordie Benn. The Habs managed to hang on to win thanks to brilliant goaltending from Carey Price.

What to Expect by Sam Gerber |
The Flyers have started to make things interesting. They have been one of the hottest teams in the league since their management changes and are a dark horse to make the playoffs. A big part of the Flyers’ turnaround has been the play of goaltender Carter Hart with a .920 save percentage. It should be a good goalie match-up. The Flyers may need the points more than Montreal but the home team can’t afford to lose many more games in the final stretch of the season. |
