Post-game Chatter |
Coach Michel Therrien:
- “[Galchenyuk and Gallagher] are playing really well for us. They make the right plays at the right time.”
- “Tonight we tried to change all the lines. We changed centremen but we wanted to keep the wingers together. We changed defensemen too. I did that because we wanted to get their attention and the result was on our side tonight.”
- “Tonight we were able to add two rookies. Bournival played well, skated well. Beaulieu came in with the right attitude. He’s working hard. I thought he deserved a chance to play. I thought tonight was the right time to do it.”
- “Peter [Budaj] was outstanding. He made key saves. He was solid. He deserved the win tonight.”
- “We played an aggressive game. What Brandon Prust did for us when Josh Gorges got hit, I thought gave us a spark plug that we probably needed. Prusty is such a good leader for our club. And he scored a goal so you have to be really satisfied.”
Brendan Gallagher
- “I saw a lot of games in this building as a kid. For me to come in here and play with a Habs jersey was pretty cool.”
