Post-game Chatter |
Coach Michel Therrien:
- “The [Sharks] play really good. They are a fast team. They skate really well. They manage the puck well. They are strong on the puck. They don’t give you a lot. They really play well defensively. But we were right there with them. We had our chances in the second period but their goalie made some good saves at the right time. And they play with a lot of confidence right now. A lot of credit to the team.”
- “I thought [Beaulieu] didn’t have confidence tonight. He was on his heels. This is a process with young guys. That’s normal. I didn’t think his passing game was sharp. We were trying to make a come back so we took the decision to go with five defencemen.”
- “When you are forcing plays, sometimes you end up behind the play and this is where we took our penalties. So we thought that we could have had a bit more power-plays but that’s the way it is. What are you going to do?”
