Game Recap:Panthers goalie Scott Clemmensen needed only 17 saves for the win with the Canadiens struggling again to create scoring chances against an opponent well back in the standings. Florida won for only the fifth time all season on the road.

Coach Michel Therrien:
- “We played 11 games in less than three weeks. Energy-wise, I could tell, They’re drained.”
- “When you are drained, there’s no more juice. Physically, you’re tired. When physically you’re tired, your execution is not quite there. You take bad decisions mentally.”
- “What we have been asking the group for the past three weeks, it’s really demanding. They’re human beings. They are good athletes but they give what they got.”
- “Tomorrow, they’re going to have a day off at the rink. They’re going to go visit the young kids at the hospital. Then we’re going to regroup for our next game Tuesday.”
- “(George Parros has been diagnosed with a concussion.) He’s going to be evaluated every day.”

- “The guys were just selling out, blocking shots, doing everything they could…We don’t get down. I think that’s been the biggest difference, just the way we battle and the way we expect to win these games and it’s obviously belief in yourself and each other.”
