Post-game Chatter |
- “You could see guys want to pay the price to get some wins and that’s a great sign. Even when guys who block shots on the ice, you could see the reaction from the guys on the bench. This is good for team spirit. They sacrifice their bodies to make sure we get the job done. A lot of credit to the players.”
- “[Diaz] played really well. He’s capable of contributing offensively but I like his game defensively as well. He and Josh Gorges played well. I like the combination with our defense, even Murray and Bouillon, they were playing well.”
- “Murray brings such a physical presence. He’s a tough guy to play against. He did his job well again tonight.”
- “[Murray] is of primordial importance. He’s a player that’s really difficult to play against. He’s especially physical in the corners and in front of the net. If he has a chance to punish the opponent, he’s going to do it.”
- “We learn from our mistakes and that’s what I like about our team. We commit mistakes in the past and we learn from it. The guys realize that we need to play sound defensive hockey and create some chances and this is what we did. It’s the way we’re going to have success.”
