Post-game Chatter |
Coach Michel Therrien:
- “I thought we pushed the pace. I believe that [the Flames] took advantage of their opportunities especially in the first period. We got 12 shots and they got only five and we were down by two goals. We didn’t react well on the two mistakes we did in the first period.”
- “It’s one of those games where we ended up taking penalties in the third period that we shouldn’t have.”
- “I didn’t like the two penalties that we took in the third period (both by Subban.) So we’re going to have to address that.”
- “(Regarding discipline) we’re going to work with [Subban] which is what we did last year. It’s a process.”
- “[Gorges] was not 100 percent in the third period (so only played one shift.)”
