Coach Michel Therrien:
- “We tried to give an opportunity to the kids. That was our plan.”
- “Tomorrow we will come back with a different lineup. Besides two guys, that was [the Senators] full lineup. It’s good to play a game with the NHL pace so when they go down they know what to do.”
- “It was a demanding game for the young kids. Confidence wasn’t there from the get-go. They need to play those type of games. One day they will know what to expect.”
- “[Budaj] battled hard. Can’t look all the time at the score and the goals against.”
- Coach Therrien confirmed that final roster cuts would come on Thursday.
