GAMEDAY: All Habs Headlines
► Milbury assaults child: Mike Milbury the bombastic hockey commentator for CBC and NBC is famous for being one of the worst general managers in the history of the NHL and for his TV rants about the “pansification of hockey.” When his son got into an on-ice altercation, Milbury stepped in and allegedly roughed up the 12-year-old from the opposing team.
“Milbury is being charged with one count of assault and battery on a child, one count of threats to commit a crime, and disorderly conduct, police said. Milbury is an assistant coach of his son’s pee wee hockey team. The alleged victim was a player from an opposing team.” — WCVB TV Boston
